As a church in the heart of Fall River we have a passion for our community. We love the people of Fall River and are committed to doing whatever it takes to reach those that are in need, hurting and lost. We want to love each other like Jesus loves us. We will go beyond these walls and into the streets , alleys, trails, train tracks of our city to find the WHOSOEVER and love them back to life!
What We Believe
a) The Scriptures Are The Inspired Word of God.
* All Scriptures are the verbally inspired Word of God.
*His Word is infallible (perfect, incapable of failing) and is the authoritative rule of faith and conduct of mankind.
b) There Is Only One True God.
*He has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, Creator of heaven and earth. And redeemer of mankind. He is a tri-une God (one God) who reveals Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
c) That Jesus Is The Son of God, And In The Deity Of The Lord Jesus Christ.
d) The Fall Of Man
*Man, because of sin, is separated from God. This separation due to sin has resulted in not only physical death but spiritual death as well.
e) The Salvation Of Man.
*That man can only be redeemed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
*Salvation is received by the grace of God through man’s repentance toward God and by having faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ.
f) Ordinances Of The Church.
*Baptism in water —All who believe in Christ as Lord and Savior are to be baptized by immersion in water.
*The Lord’s Supper—This is a memorial of Christ’s suffering and death, and prophecy of His second coming. The symbols of bread and wine are used (symbolizing His body which was broken for us and His blood which was shed for us).
g) The Baptism In The Holy Spirit.
*All believers are entitled to and should seek and expect to receive this promise from God, for the empowerment of the believer for the purpose of witnessing and serving.
h) Sanctification.
* The act of separating oneself from the evil of the world and dedicating oneself to live a holy life unto God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
i) The Church And Its Mission.
*The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit.
*The purpose of the church is:
1) For believers of like faith to come together corporately to worship God.
2) To evangelize, i.e. to reach the spiritually lost all over the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
3) To edify one another for the purpose of building a body of saints to be perfected in the image of Jesus.
j) The Ministry
*That God has divinely called and ordained individuals to lead the church in fulfilling the church’s mission.
k) Divine Healing
*That deliverance and healing from sickness, disease, etc. has been provided for in the Atonement and is available
to all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
l) The Blessed Hope.
*That Jesus will come for those who belong to Him (those who are alive as well as those who have already physically died), and they will be with Him forevermore.
m) The Millennial Reign of Christ.
*That Christ will return with His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years.
n) The Final Judgment.
* There will be a final judgment and whoever does not have his name written in the Book of Life, will spend eternity apart from God, in the lake of fire, which is the second death.
o) The New Heavens And The New Earth.
*We, according to God’s promise, look forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell.
